How a karate gi should fit?
They can expect the uniform to fit a little loose, and because their height is right in the middle of the range, they can expect to need to adjust the pants length as well. Light to moderate tailoring will be needed to get the best fit.

Hydrogen Peroxide is an excellent alternative to bleach and can be used successfully to whiten your gi naturally without bleach. Add about a half cup to your wash with regular detergent and your gi will come out as white as ever. Hydrogen Peroxide is also a foolproof way to remove blood from your gi.

High heat causes shrinking and sets in stains. Hang the uniform to air- dry. Sunlight can help keep cotton uniforms white due to the bleaching effect of ultraviolet rays. If you must use the uniform right away, tumble dry on low heat with a couple of white terry cloth towels to absorb moisture more quickly.

For stains that manage to get past this using some sort of spray’n’wash product is useful but it needs to applied after a training session or soaked in combination to help remove the stubborn ones. Oxi- Clean, baking soda and white vinegar in the washing machine works.
