How do you measure for karate belts?
In order to get the correct size for a double wrap belt, take a tailor’s tape and wrap it around your waist where you want to wear the belt. Multiply this measurement by three, and select the belt length that is closest to this number. You can choose from three different types of outer material for belts.

I recommend washing a Martial Art uniform ( gi or dobok), whenever you sweat in it. Most students train a couple of times a week, and wash their uniform once per week. However, if you sweat a lot during class (as a good workout should be), then wash it after each day of class.
